Every Fantasy World Manager guide
Sixteen guides, grouped by what you are trying to do. Each one answers a single question and links to the reference page behind it, so you can stop reading as soon as you have your answer.
First session
| Guide | The question it answers | Read it when |
|---|
| How to play | What do I do in the first hour, in what order? | You just installed the game |
| Beginner guide | How small should my first world be? | You want a world that behaves, not a continent |
| World creation settings | What am I locking in before the first tile? | You are about to press New World |
| Interface tour | What each panel does, and where the guidebook is | A panel will not behave |
Building the world
| Guide | The question it answers | Read it when |
|---|
| World editor basics | How do tiles, layers and brushes work together? | You are painting your first map |
| Region and zone editors | How do I give an area an owner and rules? | Your map has terrain but no borders |
| POI templates and prefabs | How do I reuse a landmark or a district? | You are placing the same thing twice |
People, monsters and things
Making it move
When something breaks
| Guide | The question it answers | Read it when |
|---|
| Launch problems | It crashed, or the UI is enormous. Now what? | The game will not start or looks wrong |
| Performance and settings | Will it run on my machine, and what slows it down? | You are buying, or a big world stutters |
| Early Access state | Is the thing I want already in the game? | You are deciding whether to buy now |
Reading routes
The two-hour route: How to play → World editor basics → Region and zone editors → How the simulation works. At the end you have a small world that runs and you know why.
The systems route: Attributes → Race and class design → Item tables → Equipment and power score. This is the route if you care about numbers rather than scenery.
The "is it finished?" route: Early Access state → Roadmap → Price and platforms. Read those three before you buy, not after.
